Right now I’m happy to part ways with £20-£25 for a PPV but if it keeps rising I won’t continue to do that.
AJ vs Ruiz in saudi, had a fair few undercard fights. Povetkin vs hunter, Whyte and Hrgovic were on it. When they put it to £25 a lot of people were angry at the greed.

BT sports priced Fury vs Wilder at £25, Charles Martin vs Washington on the undercard.
no one even bothered frank warren over that like they did Eddie.

If you are a hardcore boxing fan then streaming isn't hard to do if you are not a fan of either fighter. However, if it's one of your favorite fighters who is on Pay Per View; Then chances are you will be more inclined to purchase the event no matter what the cost like I did. Since I am a huge Deontay Wilder fan.

        Bit judgemental arent you?
ive been watching a couple of youtubers travel vlogs from Saudi recently

Riyadh is artificial but isnt dubai? isnt vegas?
thing is a lot of cities in the west, they cant just get knocked down and get built up again.
These new 'artificial' cities are new gen cities that have far better infrastructure/design/technology and are actually nice places to live.
My friend moved to Jeddah, he's a white guy, he loves it there.

its likely the next saudi fight will be in Jeddah too.

Damn, you guys are spoiled over there in the U.K. £25 ain't shit compared to the £62 we have to pay for a pay per view card here in the U.S. I wish our pay per views were only £25 a pop.

That is true but a hell of a lot more people have Skysports compared to BT, also a lot of people have had Skysports since the day of £15 PPVs so the price hike will be more noticeable than on a newer network like BT sport. I think as consumers we should push back if they try to go beyond £25.

When you have two unbeaten champions, in Vegas..... two different networks and the Lineal, Ring and WBC heavyweight title on the line...... **** changes man.

Joshua hasn't fought a long reigning champion yet...... he has a good CV of ex-champions and top 10's....... but this was a genuine #1 #2 lineal and WBC champion fighting for the ring magazine belt..... record numbers in the US for many years (Joshua made his debut and got splatted..... Fury took over).

You can argue that all you want....... Joshua losing his belts put him down to #3...... that's life I am afraid. Fury went to America and became a 2-time hero in fighting abroad....... Joshua has done NOTHING in comparison to that.

Enjoy the Pulev fight and ray Joshua gets through it......

Fury will sort him out easily after.... and you will get the same feeling Wilder fans fans have felt this week

I don’t know one person who paid to watch it. I was excited but these guys aren’t names over here. It was never going to do well.

Was no way I was paying for that card...Eddie is right about having **** cards and paying too much for a main event.

I don't how many Pay Per Views they sold in the U.K. However, I do know that boxing is no longer a mainstream sport anymore in the U.S. Which is also another major reason and factor for its decline in sales. Unfortunately, many casual fans stateside have lost interest in the sport 20 years ago.

Almost anything that can be pirated, will be pirated. The more expensive it is, the more likely that someone will try to pirate it.

I've been pirating since Mosley/Vargas 2. Over time, the process has gotten easier and streams have gotten progressively better. Wilder/Fury 2 was available within a couple hours on sites like Youtube and Dailymotion, and in good audio/video quality. The only way to convert a pirate is to make it affordable and convenient.
