Joshua did not beat a 5 year reigning champion in America did he?

Joshua will get his turn after Fury beats Wilder, in Vegas, again. Joshua can take care of Pulev..... (which is a tough fight by the by)
When you look at past fighters, no one really cares who beat the 'undefeated 5 yr reigning' etc.
For example, Douglas ended Tyson's reign, not Lennox lewis. People used to talk about how lennox didn't fight TYson in his prime, but today people don't care about that.

I'm not claiming AJ is better than Tyson, nor do i wish to take anything away from TYson....BUT it's a fact that klitschko in 2015 was not all there..his heart wasnt in it. The 2017 version, despite taking 2 yrs out, being older with less stamina, he came to fight and it was a better fight.
The general public regards AJ's win over klit as more impressive..and it was.

Tyson's performance vs Wilder is a big win for him, he battered him in a way no one thought he would..but should I just ignore the fact that wilder did everything he could to avoid AJ and Whyte, but regarded Fury as an easier option, inc calling him 'pillow fisted'?

that isnt taking anything away from Fury, but Fury being 'the one who beat him' isnt like Fury was extra special to do so, it just means wilder ducked others to fight him first and then lost..it reflects poorly on Wilder.

Hard to argue with anything you said.....Wilder looks bad from all sides .

I actually think he dodged Joshua but I don't want to go over that again

Man 80 dollars is nothing for a high quality fight.
Cmon boxing is to be enjoyed so I presume most people won't be sitting by themselves watching.
So if people can't afford it then surely if 2 or 3 people put up the money it's not going to break the bank.

The last two cards I paid for were rewarded with crook judges so yeah I'm out. Fudge the promoters.

I can proudly say that I paid to watch the fight.
I also can say that. I signed up for ESPN+. Everyone else I knew pulled sreams

Right now I’m happy to part ways with £20-£25 for a PPV but if it keeps rising I won’t continue to do that.
Yeah i feel the same, i’m in the UK too.

Actually i’ve started being more selective on the PPV’s i buy, even if they’re only £20. I probably won’t pay for AJ v Pulev, unless it has a great competitive undercard. I’m not that interested in the main event to pay to watch it.

I hope Whyte v Povetkin is not PPV, or Usyk v Chisora. Neither are PPV events in my opinion, even at £20 a go.

A+. He’s right. I’d like to add that a lot of people were going to sports bars as well. Legal of course. My social media is loaded with fellow boxing fans. In my newsfeed the people who were watching the fight at sports bars, they looked PACKED! Like, watching through windows at the tv from outside because they couldn’t even get inside level packed

imagine how insane boxing will be if Wilder beats Fury in the rematch by a vicious ko, early?
