Wilders team will have the final say they control him . I’m not sure they have confidence in him not losing again to someone else and will roll the dice and cash out on a final Fury fight . They duped him out of 100 million they will look to get whatever they can now .

      It’s tabloid nonsense mate.

No chance step aside money is agreed.

Between them they’d literally have to pay Pulev, Usyk, Wilder and possibly Whyte. It’s just not realistic.

Fury-AJ CAN’T happen next and that’s the only reason con men like Hearn are talking about it. Let’s see if they make the same sort of noise when the mandatories have been cleared.

I hope it happens in 2021 but I have my doubts.

If there is decent step aside money offered, take it. Unless it doesn't include a clause giving him a shot at the Fury/AJ winner. In which case, leave it.

Frank Warren is quoted, in multiple places including BBC and broadsheets...

Pulev payoff would be cheap, Whytes shot isn't until Feb 2021 and Usyk seems happy to feel his way into the division... Plus all the governing bodies do whatever tf they want anyway and as if they wouldn't grease the wheels to take their % of the Fury-Joshia pie.

Wilder is all that stops Fury-Joshua happening next... And that isn't in his interests unless he likes being humiliated and beat up by Tyson Fury.

Wilder should not stand in the way of AJ/Fury. He should regroup and then face the loser of that fight.

And that would benefit him, how?

Yeah. That last bit is where I'd see it falling over... No way they can come to a 3 party deal that guarantees Wilder the shot at Fury-Joshua winner, so he'll have to TRY and take his belt back immediately and trigger the rematch ASAP

What a waste of time... At least it'll be interesting to see how Joshua looks and fights against Pulev. Will he be more aggressive or has Ruiz made him gun shy???

Those Saudi’s could host the AJ v Fury fight and easy pay off Wilder about $20m to not stand in the way. It’s a serious possibility.

The problem is that doesn’t really benefit Wilder’s team, PBC etc to do that. They will still have a stake in the Fury rematch and a hope of winning back the belt. It only benefits Wilder to get paid and not get another pasting, but it doesn’t work like that when you have business guys behind you.

Once they step aside, they’re just surrendering any chance of being relevant the HW division. This is their only chance to get a piece.

Same reason AJ was in no position to not take the Ruiz fight. If he hadn’t, matchroom wouldn’t be seeing those belts again

Financially, mentally, physically, spiritually... It would really benefit him in every single way not getting smashed up twice in a row

Do you think Pulev has enough to test AJ?

AJ looked like he caked his shorts anytime Ruiz got close to him in the rematch. I know he did what he needed from distance, but looked incredibly uncomfortable the few times Ruiz could get close.

I’m still unsure of how he will be when someone puts it on him. I guess the good thing for AJ is that he’s had the fight since the knockout loss and maybe regained a bit of confidence.

I still think AJ might be there for the taking by a game fighter, doesn’t have to be a great fighter. Just not sure Pulev is that guy.
