Wilder should take the step aside money...

We'll get the initial PPV range in about two weeks (traditional PPV count is undercut by the fact that both Fox Sports and ESPN were also selling the PPV direct to consumer), but if Wilder-Fury 2 did get to 1m PPV buys, you're looking at $45m+ for the US TV, $15m+ on the live event, maybe another $15m+ for the UK TV, sponsors, etc. He's been presented with the perfect way out... If he has any type of team around him, they will surely MAKE him take this route.
He gets paid a lot of money for nothing, gets to regroup and get paid more money to knock out a tomato can and get some confidence back and can quickly re-establish himself as the only threat to the winner of Fury-Joshua.
Taking two vicious beatings from Fury in the same year will finish his career... The way he is talking since his loss, he isn't ready to share another promotion with Fury let alone share a ring with him!
Wilder's piece of the take could end up being $50m+ (split in his camp).
The third fight could be worth $30m+, simply speculating right now with incomplete information.
Wilder was spent after 3 rounds, and Fury still couldn't get him out of there, lol. (And a nice joke with that vicious beating talk, lol).
Does Fury have $25m to pay Wilder to step aside, then pay Arum his 30%, and then pay Warren his percentage too? Unlikely, lolComment

I'm not even sure they have to, to make Fury-Joshua first. No one ever said anything about how immediate the rematch would be. I'm sure if Wilder takes the rematch it'll be his next fight but that doesn't necessarily mean Fury can't fight in the interim while Wilder gets his **** together.
Thing is Josh just made a deal with Usyk to fight Pulev first and still have time for the wbo mando later didn't he? I'm not sure Pulev would do a favor or that Usyk will do another.Comment

Fair point around the financials...We'll get the initial PPV range in about two weeks (traditional PPV count is undercut by the fact that both Fox Sports and ESPN were also selling the PPV direct to consumer), but if Wilder-Fury 2 did get to 1m PPV buys, you're looking at $45m+ for the US TV, $15m+ on the live event, maybe another $15m+ for the UK TV, sponsors, etc.

It's just a shame this rematch clause exists...
Be like if Hatton had one after Money put a beating on him, or Prince Naseem after Barrera beat him up for 12 rounds.... Pointless running fights like that backComment

This is a good point. Bob's never been one for immediate rematches.I'm not even sure they have to, to make Fury-Joshua first. No one ever said anything about how immediate the rematch would be. I'm sure if Wilder takes the rematch it'll be his next fight but that doesn't necessarily mean Fury can't fight in the interim while Wilder gets his **** together.

It'd be down to Hearn and Arum to pacify Usyk and Pulev, but I do think that the trilogy is most likely.Comment
