Wilder should take the step aside money...

He's been presented with the perfect way out... If he has any type of team around him, they will surely MAKE him take this route.

He gets paid a lot of money for nothing, gets to regroup and get paid more money to knock out a tomato can and get some confidence back and can quickly re-establish himself as the only threat to the winner of Fury-Joshua.

Taking two vicious beatings from Fury in the same year will finish his career... The way he is talking since his loss, he isn't ready to share another promotion with Fury let alone share a ring with him!

I agree but I don’t think they will.
I think they would worry that if AJ/Fury happens this year then we most likely see a rematch no matter who wins.
That’s another year and a half before he would see that fight.
Plus now that his chin has been checked once at his age he’s more susceptible to getting KO’d again.
I think win or lose he wants that payday a Fury rematch will bring as uncle Al won’t let him fight AJ on DAZN.

It would be the highest amount ever paid to make someone step aside. If Wilder isn’t short sighted then he’d see it helps him both financially and helps with the legacy as it would give him time to work on a few things.

For real, and with the money involved in Fury-Joshua he could probably name his price and save face doing it...

Honestly - if he triggers the rematch clause - we could see Oliver McCall all over again

What Wilder should do to maybe regain his tittle:

          1- Step aside
          2-Meet Haitian Voodoo master
          3-Buy a 3 foot Teddybear
4- Put mask of Fury on Teddybear and pinch it and kick it while Fury is fighting AJ making Fury loose
5- Fight AJ and try to get lucky and maybe if he hits AJ before he gets clip, maybe then, he could win his title back.

Stop dreaming, he won`t get any "step aside" money if he doesn`t fight Fury again. Contract about Wilder and Fury fights doesn`t say anything about Joshua.

Frank Warren is quoted as having discussed it with Wilder's team... They will undoubtedly pay Wilder serious money to not trigger the mandated rematch

                    Step aside from what?

Warren can`t be sure Joshua -Fury will ever happen. They have to discuss it with Hearn. Than can we talk.
