Stepping aside then hoping to face the loser? I'm not seeing it. Better to take another beating get another big check and go home to Alabama.

Losing a third time to Fury in a few months after making a bunch of ridiculous excuses benefits him how?

Yeah that is why he should indeed use his rematch option since he does have it

Yeah make them pay you to step aside and guarantee you a shot at the winner then yeah step aside go fight Charles Martin or something to work on some things with a new trainer which is what he needs

Wilder is all that stops Fury-Joshua happening next... And that isn't in his interests unless he likes being humiliated and beat up by Tyson Fury.
So what happens to Pulev/Usyk if Fury wins.

What happens to Wilder/Whyte if vice versa.

There’s no way in hell 4 fighters will be paid step aside money. It’s ridiculous.

The prospect of Fury-AJ happening next is media driven nonsense, AJ has already agreed to face Pulev Jun 20th. There’s absolutely no chance he’ll fight Fury next.

I GUARANTEE the fight doesn’t happen this year.

            Hey man, great avatar pic.

But you guys with this new age mentality about boxing just kills me. Taking one loss and your career is over. It’s hilarious and it’s insulting. I know barely any of you ever saw the old school way fighters acted when they won and lost, but good lord were in need of some humble fighters to re-educate everyone.

Wilder can defeat Fury and Fury can defeat Wilder.

Anyone who would be upset for Wilder to exercise a rematch clause is silly. It’s completely up to Wilder and his team. So many kids run their mouth on this forum because they don’t respect boxing. Not saying you don’t, but there’s a lot here that don’t even understand what they’re saying.

Champions come back from these type of defeats. Let him decide if he wants to be a champion.

I agree. He's not an undefeated puncher anymore so he would just be high risk low reward so he would be swerved anyways and it could be years before it's resolved maybe in court.

Ideally, it would be nice if he worked on everything, but in reality he could do it that way and still not get the fight later.

No step aside would be worth the paycheck he would get now.

He gets paid a lot of money for nothing, gets to regroup and get paid more money to knock out a tomato can and get some confidence back and can quickly re-establish himself as the only threat to the winner of Fury-Joshua.

Taking two vicious beatings from Fury in the same year will finish his career... The way he is talking since his loss, he isn't ready to share another promotion with Fury let alone share a ring with him!
Couldn’t agree more. It’s a lucky stroke for Wilder. Take it, Deontay!
