Gotta give it up to Tyson Fury for doing what nearly everyone said he couldn’t which was walking Wilder down and stopping him. As for Wilder it was very obvious that once his power was a non factor he’d lose.... he showed tremendous heart though. An unexpected night but one we’re gonna be talking about for a while.

You can tell his equilibrium was fcuked up from the KD. Wilder never had good balance, but you can just tell that punch to the ear caused a lot of damage. Up to that point, Wilder looked fine.

Similar to AJ vs. Ruiz, but the ear damage looked a lot worse.

Biggest gate ever for a HW fight in Vegas. Broke Lewis/Holyfield 2 record of 16.8 million. I knew they both stood to make a lot of money but they were both guaranteed 28 million plus a 50/50 split on any other revenue. Those are huge numbers. I wonder how many PPVs they sold? If there is a rematch Fury will get a 60/40 split according to the rematch clause & the loser must trigger the rematch clause in 30 days. I'm not sure a demand for a 3rd fight will be there after that one sided beating...

Fury kicked his ass. He caused the eardrum problem with a punch in the 3rd that dropped him. I thought they might stop the fight there. I don't know if there were any other injuries but i pointed it out to a few beside me in the bar that during the 4th or 5th round ( I can't remember which round) I noticed Wilder holding his right forearm a few times. I believe it was 3 times to be exact. I said that is something to keep an eye on... Fury won fair & square. I am glad he won as he looked in total control before the fight & during the fight. I'm just wondering if Wilder may have injured his right forearm or bicep during the fight. It wasn't an ongoing thing but he did hold it a few times during that one round. Fury had grabbed him to hold & spun him around I believe & that was the first time he was holding it. Then a couple more times but I never saw it again for the rest of the fight. Bayless never took his eyes off Wilder from round 5 on. It was only a matter of time...

Wilder's reliance on his power stagnated his technical development. Wilder didn't look like he belong there. Wilder's size was his advantage all along against the other fighters.
