Wilder depends on his power, not boxing skills. Only boxers who depend on their skills can ignore size, because they will not be there for the heavy opponent to hug them and wrestle. Wilder was there all night for Fury to wrestle and manhandle. He was so tired that he was pretty much a punching bag for Fury. Look at the body punch that dropped Wilder, it wasn't even that good, Wilder was just tired from all the wrestling.
That was Fury's gameplan and he executed it perfectly. I'm not mad at him despite being a Wilder fan and thinking Wilder was going to win. Fury won using his weight, skills, and a bit of wrestling. Wilder lost for thinking his power was going to bail him out against the much heavier man.
