He’s a good fighter but he lost every round to Kovalev in the rematch so I don’t think he’s that good/

While the Jacobs fight was at 160, Canelo fought at super middleweight in 2 of his 5 fights prior to Kovalev. So that’s moving up one division.

No one in their right mind would consider Canelo a super middleweight but it’s somehow sane to call him a super middleweight champion?

Bivol’s best win is looking like Jean Pascal at this point. I think Bivol is great, he dominates everyone. I don’t rank him over Canelo Alaverez on a pound for pound list and no one does.

Elieder Alvarez’s two best wins are probably Kovalev and Pascal. I don’t want him over Canelo Alvarez on a pound for pound list and no one does.
So Bivol is considered a top light heavyweight when his best win is Pascal.

But Kovalev beating Alvarez who also beat Pascal didn't mean anything and kovalev wasn't a credible champion anymore. Kovalev was so washed up despite having a significant win at 175 in 2019, which was better than anything bivol did who many considered to be top 2 in the division. Canelo, a middleweight, going up to 175 and beating kovalev isn't impressive and worthy of #1 p4p status, although no one else on the list has a win on the same level.

        Explain this to me

Wait, are you suggesting that Canelo and Loma's respective p4p contention doesn't stem entirely from one factor (beating an opponent two divisions north) in isolation? And that a 10 year old of average intelligence could see past this bull**** false premise? Dunno...seems like a real reach man

What win on Loma's resume is as good as Canelo jumping up 2 divisions and beating Kovalev?

But it’s probably because Lomachenko won three belts at 135 while Canelo beat up an old man to win a title that was given to the old man for beating Igor Mikhalkin.
                      Rigo is older then Kovalev
