The reason Canelo’s light heavyweight run isn’t that impressive is because he moved up one division to fight Kovalev. 2 of his 5 fights prior to Kovalev happened at super middleweight. Also, he fought Kovalev. Kovalev won his title by beating Igor Mikhalkin. Kovalev was 4-3 in his 7 fights before the loss to Canelo. He’s now 4-4 in his past 8, with 3 knockout losses. He’s shot.
I guess you weren't a boxing fan back in 2017 then because yes they did. Also, Canelo's previous fight before kovalev was at 160. No one In their right mind would ever consider Canelo a super middleweight before he jumped up 2 divisions. 160 for one fight and 175 for the next is 2 division jump.

Let me ask you this, what is Bivol's best win? Since you guys love to hype that guy up.

Answer this as well, what are Eilieder Alvarez's 2 best wins? You know the guy Kovalev beat to win back his belt.

Yes because rigo is a drunk who’d been stopped recently and almost stopped and put on lalaland in his previous fight too...so the comparison is exactly the same. Rigo wasn’t undefeated and didn’t have a litany of fighters refusing to fight him..but it’s exactly the same situation I suppose.

So beating a small old inactive rigo jumping up 2 divisions who didn't have significant win in years is just as good of a win as....

Jumping up 2 divisions and beating a significantly bigger active champion who actually had a significant win recently?

              Are you actually this ******

Lomachenko is considered by many to be number one p4p because he’s dominated all of his competition and is a three division champion, not because he beat Rigodeaux.

While the Jacobs fight was at 160, Canelo fought at super middleweight in 2 of his 5 fights prior to Kovalev. So that’s moving up one division.

No one in their right mind would consider Canelo a super middleweight but it’s somehow sane to call him a super middleweight champion?

Bivol’s best win is looking like Jean Pascal at this point. I think Bivol is great, he dominates everyone. I don’t rank him over Canelo Alaverez on a pound for pound list and no one does.

Elieder Alvarez’s two best wins are probably Kovalev and Pascal. I don’t want him over Canelo Alvarez on a pound for pound list and no one does.
