I’ve said it seventeen times. Bivol is undefeated and dominates everyone he fights. Kovalev is 4-4 in his last 8 fights. I don’t know of one example of anyone who’s 4-4 in their last 8 fights who’s ranked ahead of an undefeated champion.

If all of Linares’ wins suck, what is Kovalev’s great win? Is it a washed up Bernard Hopkins or Dmitry Bivol’s best win, Jean Pascal? Or is it Alvarez who is only a good win because Alvarez knocked Kovalev out cold in the previous fight?

My apologies on the mistake with Walters. I thought the Marriaga fight was at 130. It doesn’t change the fact that it’s a more impressive win than a shot Kovalev.

Walters’ win over Donaire is comparable to anyone Kovalev has beaten. Who has Kovalev beaten again?

If you’re going to put down a convincing win over Russell Jr., there’s no reason to talk about this anymore. You’re clearly insanely biased.

Did this dumbass just compare Linares beating Oscar larios and a washed up jesus chavez to every win Kovalev has? Linares has NO great wins on his resume

Walters WAS NOT a two division champ. Walters beating a a donaire who was way too SMALL for 126 is not comparable to Kovalev's wins

The russel fight was in 2014 and Russel win is arguable because Russel had done nothing at 126 before fighting loma

I have never seen nebody comment on not only the size of linares and his back in that fight, but size size and quantity of acne on his back. He was juiced to the gills and still got broke down and acted like he wanted to continue. That liver shot was brutal.

Why are you including the Canelo loss? We are talking about before the fight. 2 of kovalev's losses were against the same guy with one being real close. He then avenged the other loss easily In his very next fight. So how in the fck was kovalev "shot" when he recently had a better win than the concencus top 2 guy in the division? How does that make any sense?

Linares hasn't beaten anyone,he's trash. I like how youre implying that Alvarez wasn't a good win, that must mean you think Bivol wouldn't be either since Bivol has a very comparable resume to Alvarez.

How is Walters a better win when he's done NOTHING at 130, while kovalev was a proven champion at 175?

                You're an idiot

The reason Canelo’s light heavyweight run isn’t that impressive is because he moved up one division to fight Kovalev. 2 of his 5 fights prior to Kovalev happened at super middleweight. Also, he fought Kovalev. Kovalev won his title by beating Igor Mikhalkin. Kovalev was 4-3 in his 7 fights before the loss to Canelo. He’s now 4-4 in his past 8, with 3 knockout losses. He’s shot.
Canelo's fight right before Kovalev was at 160.

That means he moved up two divisions.
