    So…Tank Davis and Benavidez.

    Is that it? Anyone else?
What fights did Spence have with GBP that made him a star?

Your OP says outside of Mayweather but Mayweather had ties to Golden Boy promotions for years including 2 of his 4 biggest PPV's.

The question is was it GBP or Al Haymon working in the shadows?

If I remember correctly, Mayweather always thanked Al Haymon

Of course it was Al Haymon.

GBP had nothing to do with it, which contradicts the point attempting to be made.

Can you name PBC fighters, that qualify as stars, who have ZERO connections to Golden Boy?

So far it’s Tank Davis and maybe David Benavidez.
I don't mean to sound rude or disrespectful but one cannot have a connection to a fighter without a signed contract or legal binding agreement.

Therefore, Golden Boy promotions didn't do shit for the fighters who signed with Al Haymon; Except for appearing on its cards.

The reason why is because Al needed a promoter. It just so happened that Golden Boy Promotions had one at the time in Oscar De LaHoya who had a promoter's license as Al Haymon did not.

So technically speaking, none of those fighters were either linked or connected to Golden Boy Promotions because they never signed any exclusive contract deals with them but they did with Al Haymon.

Which was the main reason how Al Haymon nearly put Golden Boy Promotions out of business; Once he left and had taken about 95 percent of their entire roster of fighters who fought under their promotional banner with him.

For the exception of Canelo Alvarez; Whom Richard Schaefer signed to an exclusive contract and Abner Mares. None of those fighters were ever legally or contractually obligated to Oscar De La Hoya's company.

I don't know what they're doing wrong, but they're supposed to be producing more stars as expected considering they have the largest stable.

Benavidez is a new addition, relatively speaking, if he's being mention a star, potentially speaking or not, you have to wonder what happened to the Charlo brothers, for example, who have been with PBC longer than Benavidez. Why are these guys still languishing in obscurity?

You guys have a hard time staying on topic, don’t you?

I don’t blame you. Deflecting is probably easier than coming up with names to answer the actual question I asked.
