What he probably meant to say is is that he is the most exciting, crowd pleasing and fan friendly African American boxer today, since Mike Tyson because he is a heavyweight slugger with one punch knockout power.

And Wilder is behind TC and Spence
No Joshua is not, he may be of African descent but not born or naturalized American.

It's seems to be obvious he WAS asked the question in the way he answered it. The interviewer ask him if he felt he was the best African American boxer. What? U think he just came and said he was because it's black history month??

Thanks for keeping it real bro.

That is because you are a quite open minded dude.

Sad to see high paid athletes from a modern countrly like the US thinking like such uneducated twats.

Underrated comment but I'll take it a step further, why not just say "you're the best boxer" period regardless of nationality or race.

Probably because everyone in the world will think he is a massive tool, if he does.

I think Wilder can help himself here by sticking to what he knows; knocking people out, not trying to become a member of MENSA.

Sort of. No other African American could beat him.

The writer thinks Joshua is African American?

There are some absolutely horrible writers contributing here. Unprofessional and unqualified. There is no excuse for making a mistake like that.
