I'd like to say that maybe if Smith had looked better in his last fight, he'd be more deserving and would've gotten the Canelo fight. But then again, Canelo usually picks people coming off of less than impressive performances so who knows. Either way this murota s*** is a joke. He's 4-2 in his last 6. Nobody has to earn anything. Canelo just fights guys he is sure he can beat. Earning the fight has nothing to do with it. What did Khan, Chavez Jr, Kirkland and Angulo do to earn a Canelo fight except to look very easy for him to beat?
