Well it can be, but that’s not how the watered down modern sport of boxing works

But I think we can’t expect Canelo to be judged differently to everyone else doing the same thing

It’s not Canelo to blame, more so the promoters and the gullible sports fans willing to accept it

Going from one elite opponent to another to another will shorten a career.

I don't mind if fighters throw in a Fielding or a Murata in between, as long as they are also fighting a Jacobs and a Golovkin.

No one else is doing that other than Canelo so he would be the last fighter I would criticize. Unless he starts fighting strictly easier opponents with no elites to offset that.
