that's right, I forgot... you admitted that you are not a boxing fan

then... why are you suggesting that a guy who...

    a) never earned that fight
    b) was never the best possible opponent
    c) was highly unlikely to win

... was ducked, by a guy who is making MUCH bigger fights ?

what is REALLY motivating your latest sillyness... ?

coz yea, that is the thing with you... Mr Agenda...

when someone is consistently off the mark, you have to wonder why

what is REALLY motivating your latest sillyness... ?

He became the mandatory. So yes, he earned the fight.

          not with Canelo

Hard luck for Charlo, he needed to do something

          same with Andrade

it is clearly obvious that those guys needed to fight each other

that has been clearly obvious for more than 2 years

Danny Jacobs got that fight before Andrade and Charlo because he EARNED it... they did nothing, so hard luck for them

He didn’t become mandatory though did he?

The WBC regulations explicitly state an interim champion is not a mandatory (3.21)

The WBC didn’t call purse bids. So how did Canelo duck Charlo if he was not mandated to? Charlo seems to be the only fighter to turn down an offer

Because it was Haymon affiliates want general fans to believe. Industry writers never said Canelo ''ducked'' Charlo because there was no formal order or mandate. The fans control the narrative

                  Yes, he did.

BoxingScene.com caught up with WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman during fight week for the Canelo Alvarez-Gennady Golovkin rematch that took place at the T-Mobile

"The WBC has informed the camps and it has been clear and public that Charlo, who is the mandatory contender, had accepted to have the (first) fight Canelo-Triple G and then he accepted to have the rematch that is why we ordered an interim title because the WBC demanded to support an (immediate) rematch (of Alvarez-Golovkin).

I don’t see how this quote supports your argument

It’s stating that Charlo was the mandatory up until the WBC accepted the rematch, and at that point he became interim champion

and as we know, interim champions are not mandatory challengers

Can you please explain your point as what you’ve supplied seems to agree with me ?

You're grossly misinterpreting the rules. In the WBC, being interim champion doesn't automatically mean you're mandatory. Only being named mandatory means you're mandatory. If the mandatory wins the interim title, he doesn't lose his mandatory status.

On Saturday’s fight between Jermall Charlo and Hugo Centeno, battle for the right to be the mandatory opponent to WBC middleweight champ Gennady Golovkin

On Saturday’s fight between Jermall Charlo and Hugo Centeno, not only is the WBC interim middleweight crown on the line, but to become the mandatory opponent to WBC middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin.
