Yeah I went slightly off topic but I already stated if the offer was legit that Charlo absolutely should have taken it or been allowed to take it..... not sure who’s making the decisions for these PBC guys. Some of these decisions in my view aren’t for the benefit of the fighters but benefit PBC instead.
That is my issue here, it benefits PBC not the boxers themselves, the sad thing is this, in 2 years time that offer would probably double, then you would have the people defending them saying “Look they are now offered double what they rejected last time out”
Which means they are ok with the fights not happening at the points that we wanted to see them happen.
so he ducked for financial reasons. thats why everybody ducks. its still a duck.
Well all know your bias. We can probably predict your posts even before we see them. Sad position to be in really
Anyway. Let’s distinguish a couple of things. Convenience doesn’t have much weight anywhere
Canelo ducked a a ridiculous financial position, not the fighter. Offering Charlo 45% is ludicrous
This distinction is justified considering that Canelo seems to have offered Charlo 12m for a fight - an amount 99% would deem fair, if not overpriced for Charlo
You don’t duck fighters by offering a fairer alternative. You duck unwise financial positions
But please go ahead, for the sake of convenience to your bias, to continue blurring the two things

well...yeah....the guys are going to be influenced likely to do whats better for the pbc....but consider this.....if someone makes an offer like this to charlo and puts that kind of money up...eventually the pbc is going to have to come through for the fighter if he stays....
look at wilder....DAZN made an offer with a big number attached....eventually haymon had to get good money for wilder to fight breazeale to get him to stick around......if haymon doesnt deliver for these guys when turning down offers eventually that will be bad business as far as signing fighters in the future like young prospects....as well as having fighters leave him when they can.....
haymon will have to come through if he hes having guys shun offers....or eventuallyt the guys will be disgruntled and word will get around the industry....but for the most part most all of al's fighters seem happy and willing to go along with his advice...
