not only that...but the opponents of canelo and joshua are getting more money than floyds or pacs guys...i mean chenko getting 6 mil to fight golovkin is ridic imo...and even jacobs getting 12 mil for canelo is nuts....

Yeah I don't know how DAZN is making money from these fights in all honesty and I don't know how sustainable this model is, 6m for Chavez Jr to face Jacobs and 7m for Mikey Garcia to face Vargas?? Doesn't add up at all unless there is something we don't know in terms of their revenue structure.

The funny thing is the only fights that I think are definitely making profit are the YouTube fights which is funny and damning at the same time.

At the end of the day I'm not a seasoned businessman so I can't be sure but my gut tells me DAZN is not yet a profitable venture and has some time before it becomes one.

i can definitley understand paying the stars big bucks...like canelo and AJ....especially for a network/app in its infancy....but the opponent pricetags are ridiculous......and even some of the other numbers like you said mikey getting 7 mil for vargas....but the money even guys like jacobs, kov and chenko got are just nutty in my opinion

im not sure DAZN is profitable at this point....but thats not the point...you have to spend to make....sometimes you have to lose some to make some in the long run.....so im not saying they cant last or be successful....just seems like an uphill climb because i cant see that they are making a ton of money right now

Yeah I went slightly off topic but I already stated if the offer was legit that Charlo absolutely should have taken it or been allowed to take it..... not sure who’s making the decisions for these PBC guys. Some of these decisions in my view aren’t for the benefit of the fighters but benefit PBC instead.
