Not sure about this claim, but time will tell. I would expect that if Charlo really wants Canelo, he'll call him out & keep doing so. On the other hand if he does, I would expect Oscar to retort publicly that he made him an offer, which Jarmall refused. If Alvarez really wants Charlo, he'll offer him what it takes to get him. But honestly, all I hear from Oscar lately is that Canelo has the luxury of picking whomever he wants to fight, across different divisions. I have not heard him mention Charlo as someone on his short list.Comment

Absolutely!!
What fantasy land are you living in where 10 million is 10% of the pot in a Canelo-Charlo fight??
Canelo isn't anywhere near the draw that Floyd is and seldom ever did his low-medium profile B-side opponents get more than a couple million. Shane Mosley got 6 million against Floyd..... I think you've vastly overestimated how much money this fight is worth and how much Charlo is worth. Either that or you believe the Al Haymon Back end Bed time stories. I believe both Jacobs and Kovalev got around 10M and its very possible those fights lost money, especially the Kovalev fight. Charlo isn't worth more than those guys..... the debate is on whether the offer was legit or not and not whether Charlo should have taken it or not. If the offer was legit then it should have been an easy decision for him.

From the “business” side of things most of us get it, its Oscar and Haymon playing power torch, and with Canelo, cmon, Oscar won that battle and all battles. Can’t hate on Oscar that Canelo sells, that’s what bothers Haymon since Floyd is gone.
With that being said, the only one embarrassing himself is Jermall Charlo pricing himself out. He represents himself. Only he will have to justify the reason turning it down. Many of us are just urging to hear the excuse for HIS reasoning, or even better, “I was told that we could make...” which as always comes from where....smells like Wilder turning down a huge deal. The only way these fighters bypass such pays, since all they really have to do is perform, is being brainwashed by an advisor.Comment

I know you are, because you know they purposely avoided using that word, even if that's what happened. They tried putting lipstick on a pig and idiots like you fell for it. But the fact remains that Canelo was WBC world champion and Charlo was his mandatory. He refused to fight Charlo and vacated his WBC world championship. Any honorary title he was given to help him save face doesn't change what he did.Comment

You're lying. I never said he should have gone to purse bid with Charlo. I agree it was a smart business decision to duck Charlo. I just think you guys should be honest and admit whoever ducked the purse bid is the one who ducked the fight. If he ducked for business reasons, no problem. That's why everyone ducks obviously.Comment

I believe it. When Charlo was asked about his thoughts on Canelo moving up to face Kovalev, he sounded relieved and praised him for taking on bigger challenges. And in another interview when Stephen A Smith asked him about whether he'd like to face Canelo at 168 after Kovalev, he didn't sound convincing and talked about wanting to focus on 160.Comment

Damn what a crushing thread making the PBC defenders really look lame. I was told that only racist British White supremacists talked like this about Charlo or the PBC. I didnt realize how many Racist British white supremacists where actually black and American.
Maybe its actaully true that lying idiots like WBC WB liar WB lair and Big Dunn who are a vast minority here. Maybe they lie when they claim to speak for all black Americans. Ive been calling Charlo a big ducking chicken for a couple of years now cuz its clear as hell that he is and ive been labelled a racist by those guys.Comment
