but other than that....that list isn't impressive...and Andrade is having to beg charlo to come over for a legit fight that people care about....farmer is ok but he doesn't get views...hes still an undercard guy that they have to pair with Andrade and put youtubers on the card....

    1) i had to counter the biased view that dazn are focused on the mexican market...when they have so many black fighters on their books.
    2) the other guy also quoted me to say 'but dazn isnt pushing them' which only tells me some of you have short term memories and selective bias.
    3) if it just happens that EH signs a mexican who sells loads of subs compared to a load of black boxers..that doesnt mean those black boxers havent been pushed or are not good..it just means mexican fans are subbing more.
someone made a valid point recently that Fox sports air other sports which black athletes partake in..so there are more black people watching fox sports...naturally that would push them to pbc cards. mexicans dont really play football/basketball on the highest level, so it goes without saying there would be less mexicans watching those sports and more into boxing.
The contexts end up where it obv makes sense for dazn to seek the mexican/hispanic fanbase.
However it doesnt mean they in anyway dont value black boxers. EH doesnt give a **** what nationality someone is if he thinks he's an elite boxer.
I've seen pbc nuts talk about the likes of usyk as 'irrelevant' but they are elite.
promoting boxing isnt just about getting subs in the US...it's about growing the sport globally aswell as showcasing the prestigious names.
it's about owning the content..all of it, whether it sells well or not doesnt matter..it is all cumulative and builds up to establishing a superior end product.

    4) the list isnt impressive.
**** off..that's an impressive list. stop acting like a tart and just appreciate what you have. it is a more impressive list than the mexican boxers dazn have (other than canelo who we know is also ducking andrade..i m ean if amir khan could outbox him, wtf would andrade do?)
what more do you want? mohammed bruce lee? you guys dont even actually appreciate wilder do you? dont tell me about moving the needle.

you cant argue dazn doesnt push these guys. even ammo williams is being pushed by EH. EH has talked about them all, ammo williams, otha jones...no different to haney or farmer.
sims jr has been out for a while because he changed trainer, dropped to SMW...but he isnt forgotten.
i guess we brits appreciate these guys more.

    5) when did andrade ever beg charlo? i thought it was normal for champion belt holders to fight other champion belt holders?
i mean that's the natural conclusion right?

Mexicans will watch Charlo vs. Harrison II, Golovkin vs. Derevyanchenko and Garcia vs. Vargas.

For whatever reason African-American fans seem to only watch Charlo vs. Harrison II type fights and white Americans seem to only watch Golovkin vs. Derevyanchenko type fights.
I'm interested in that - I mean that's the kinda stereotype, but is there any figures available anywhere for a breakdown of viewship by ethnicity? I've had a little scout around but can't really find anything much except the stuff refered to earlier in the thread re: Floyd's PPVs. There's a bit more available on age demographics, and there was that Espinoza article a coupla months back, but it wasn't great on detail just saying whether folk reported themselves as boxing fans (in 2017) but not actually whether they bought or watched the fights.

you're absolutely full of **** man.

            1) those names are impressive...they're all quality boxers or have huge potential. yet my point in mentioning them wasnt merely that they're impressive boxers, it was that they're black boxers who eddie hearn promotes. hence 'you guys have selective memories'
            2) tank davis is 4 yrs older than haney.
            3) take a good look at your boy wilder, he can't sell out an arena and does **** numbers.
maybe it's because of floyd mayweather? or maybe it's due to a context of ksi-logan paul and aj-ruiz 2 just happening ie americans are returning to boxing in these contexts?
daniel jacobs vs chavez jr sold out too.

i don't think so if anything dazn tries to cater to everyone. When jacobs fought canelo i was rooting for jacobs. Why because im a boxing fan don't care what country a fighter is from. As long as dazn puts up good fights they have my support.Last fight i watched on pbc was the harrison/charlo fight and it was good. I don't understand why everything has to do with race or who gets paid more. As a fan of boxing i could care less what company a boxer represents.

AJ is black, isn't he? I forgot to mention him.

Although some might point out that he isn't American.
