    Ah...progress...

First DAZN was a joke that wouldn't broadcast any worthwhile fights....then DAZN broadcasted worthwhile fights but were going out of business soon....now DAZN is a regional app for Mexicans but won't expand any further....

Notice how the lames are moving the goal posts....I can't wait to see where we're at next year lmao!

LOL all of you are trippin.

I bet boxing fans are not even 10% of DAZN customer base.

Their main products are SOCCER and NFL.

I bet there are more people that sign up for Bellator than boxing.

Everyone I know that has DAZN signed up for Champions League and NFL.

      Oh MLB as well...

I think you are being extremely biased.

You’d never say this about canelo and Loma doing the emeritus thing because they are not with pbc.

Why do you want pbc fighters to take the money and give up power and control?

Besides, it’s not like the DAZN guys are fighting guys that can beat them anymore.

I like to see where they are getting their stats.
"Through the last decade, boxing’s sponsor base has grown, but it largely has been driven by the desire of brands to reach Hispanics. Mexican beer brands Tecate and Corona dominate the sport. Other brands that have played regularly typically have funded those programs from their Hispanic marketing budgets.

An analysis of viewer data collected from set-top cable and satellite boxes by audience measurement company Rentrak indicated that, while those who bought other Mayweather and Pacquiao fights in the last two years skewed heavily Hispanic, those who were either new or returning to boxing [for Mayweather-Pacquiao] looked more like the audience for other sports with regard to race, ethnicity, age and income (see chart).

They still were almost twice as likely to be Hispanic as the average TV household. But that was down considerably from the previous buyers of Mayweather, who were 4 1/2 times more likely to be Hispanic, or of Pacquiao, who were almost four times as likely to be Hispanic. New viewers were about 10 percent more likely to be African-American and 18 percent less likely to be white, non-Hispanic."

The strings that come with a deal like that.

Take ggg for instance . His $100 mil deal seems to be half in stock options, not all cash.

Or Andrade, who can’t get a fight with canelo or ggg despite being on DAZN.

Why would a top pbc fighter that wants to win put himself in the position of going to the opponents network and letting the opponent’s promoter control everything?

Might be true if you are not from the US, but boxing is the main focus for DAZN US, because it didnt have as many entry barriers as the other sports had.

I bet that more people sign up for boxing than bellator though.

Hispanic is not Mexican. For instance the pic you posted said Mayweather's last 6 opponents have been Hispanics. Only three of those were Mexican.

I don’t see how any business model would target one audience especially when that audience ALONE wouldn’t be enough to carry the company forward.
I think the DAZN handlers are using the big names they have to push the app forward and to open the doors to whoever wants to come over. That happens to be the Mexican demographic primarily and with Joshua, the UK fan base.

I just can’t see a for profit international company targeting one demographic group in America. There’s just way too much money and opportunity to draw people in. With the right fighters and promotion.
