What's the point of offering Charlo money then it's clear Triple g is avoiding both Charlo and Andrade. You can't force Triple g to fight someone he doesn't wanna fight... You can't blame DAZN for that.

and I think DAZN could force something on golovkin...they just don't want to...they want to "protect" canelo/golvokin 3....they've already overpaid for that fight and it still hasn't happened

canelo cant be forced to do things....but I think golovkin could be....hes not on the level of canelo.....but DAZN wants to protect that matchup anyway they can and hope they can talk canelo into it

I know you will argue that only the US matters, but DAZN also offers boxing from the
- UK
- Italy and now also
- Spain

Granted, that italy and spain can't produce big cards, because their talent pool is limited, but I give credit to Matchroom/Hearn for developing boxing in those countrie and hope they will launch Matchroom Germany in the near future. It certainly makes boxing more internationally.

- They werent able to get any of the popular black fighters from PBC, but it's not like they didnt want those fighters. They tried, but didnt suceed.
Still, they got Haney, Andrade, Farmer, Hunter and Hooker and have prospects like Austin Williams, Anthony Sims Jr., Otha Jones and Charles Conwell.

- they bought the rights for the WBSS, which is not catered to mexicans and mexican-american fighters.

- The three flagship boxers of DAZN are Canelo, Joshua and Golovkin. Only one is mexican.

- They also have a fair share of eastern europeans boxing on DAZN: Golovkin, Usyk, Povetkin, Kuzmin, Bivol, Hrgovic, Gassiev. Plus their prospects: Giyasov, Yeleussinov, Madrimov.

- those youtube circus fights are catered to a younger audience who might (maybe not) get interested in boxing.

charlo would cross the street...for canelo and probably golovkin....problem is DAZN wont do it

but they'll offer charlo to fight the guy nobody watches or knows or really cares about...which is Andrade....strange that they have this guy, Andrade, but he cant get a fight with the guys on DAZN and they have MW names galore

imagine this....imagine spence is Andrade...hes got no brook...no mikey...no porter on his resume(andrades res stinks)....hes got danny, pac, Thurman etc fighting under his banner....but his next fight is against Sebastian formella and hes out here offering jesse vargas 6 mil to come over to the pbc for a fight

I understand DAZN initial strategy, get the most popular fighter and get gbp since they all cater to Mexican fans. Smart move imo.

I think they realized after some time that without African American fighters they couldn’t tap into that base of fans, a group that has shown a willingness to spend money on boxing when fighters from our community are given the spotlight.

DAZN has tried to correct that with huge offers for African American fighters but these people aren’t dumb- they know the money comes with strings attached.

Boxers are carefully weighing going to DAZN to fight a DAZN fighter where the promoter hand picked the venues, judges, ref and had complete control of the event. That is a recipe to get robbed.

You can’t just throw money at boxers and expect them to jump. They want control and power just as much as money and DAZN can’t give them that.

What strings attached??? Jacobs and Kovalov hustled them into getting 2-3 fight deals worth around $20 million with the Canelo fight???

yup DAZN wants canelo/golovkin 3 very badly...they've been overpaying golovkin for it the whole time so far....they need it

sooner or later though you have to take care of your own guys when you have a loaded division.....Andrade just sitting there not being able to get a fight looks awful

charlo is understandable over there right? I mean hes the Crawford of the pbc....yet everyone seems to give Crawford a pass....
