If you didn’t score the fight, how can you have an opinion on who won/lost/draw when it went to a decision?

I’m pretty familiar with David and Franny who was his trainer at the time and I know for a FACT that Frank Maloney received an offer in excess of £100,000 which was rejected as Maloney couldn’t allow Price to fight on Channel 5. Hennessy was also in a vulnerable position so couldn’t afford to risk losing Fury from Channel 5 so was dead against a purse bid, so suggested Fury vacate to pursue world level ambitions which he managed to fulfil and became the best HW in the world and 44th lineal champion.

Price on the other hand, unfortunately, went on to lose twice to Thompson the following year and has never fulfilled his potential.

Price by his own admission accepts the fight didn’t happen due to politics, he’s even done interviews admitting there’s no bitterness towards Fury as he accepts he was simply better than him and “has something he doesn’t”.

How do I know that??? Cause I was there to support Price so hardly a Fury fanboy... I actually remember Ray Sparrow, (as a casual you won’t know who he is) who’s one of the finest amateur coaches in the country, saying Fury would be a future champion after that fight and he was right.

I've been to several small (non famous) boxing fights, I would never pay to go and see big name boxers fight. Too expensive. I went to the pub to watch Bruno Tyson 2 to avoid paying for it. You can't get any more dedicated than that. I've been watching boxing since 1985.

The Lineal belt is only mentioned by Tyson Fury fans. If Fury was so great he would have a real belt by now.

The lineal belt is acknowledged by anyone that knows the sport. For example Manny Pacquiao is recognised as an 8 weight world champion and two of them (126 and 140) were lineal titles as he didn’t hold a recognised ABC org title at either of those weights. So WRONG again.😂😂
