i dont mind that at all... in fact, i actually said canelo will win it. but they're some posters on here saying canelo's positive test should automatically disqualify him from this. so?

No one has better wins this decade than that.
Two fights in a decade and nobody has wins better than Floyd beating an already sparked out Pac in the most lackluster event in the history of boxing? Canelo ok that was a decent win I won't s**t on that but nobody has done nothing better in a ten year stretch? That's the best boxing has to offer? Shows just how low the standards are.

I think you cats confuse big events with prime vs. prime competition.

        Pac just beat Keith Thurman.

Makes Floyd's win look better and better.

Losses have to count. That’s how we differentiate between the best.

We aren’t comparing an undefeated guy like wilder to manny because he hasn’t fought anywhere near the same caliber of fighter.

However, when comparing Floyd and manny, they not only fought each other but many of the same opponents.

If you can cite “manny beat them better”, then it should also count if he lost.

Your resume is everyone you fought, not just everyone you beat.

and that's why manny is leading the race. it's what you accomplished in that whole decade. you have to put the work in to win the award, you cant half-assed it and retired half way into the decade and expect to still win it lol.

so if we go by this, and count the loss manny has, we also have to count the win he accomplished after those loss. so if you add those up, he outdid floyd. this is an award for FOTD, not an award for the fighter with the best record or best win.

Floyd beat Pac head to head.

Also beat Canelo head to head.

Neither guy can be ranked above him as a result.

Also...the biggest, financial record-breaking events in boxing history happened during this decade and all involved Floyd.

Which furthers adds to his legacy.

so let's see... from 2010-2015 which is the year floyd is active in.. he fought --

                    mosley
                    ortiz
                    cotto
                    guerrero
                    canelo
                    maidanax2
                    manny
                    berto

                    now with manny from 2010-2015

                    margarito
                    mosley
                    marquezx2
                    rios
                    bradleyx2
                    algeri
                    floyd
                    vargas

                    then 2015-2019, manny fought --

                    bradley
                    vargas
                    horn
                    lucas
                    broner
                    thurman

so you can clearly see manny outdid floyd... now if the award was from 2010-2015, then floyd will have a good case of winning it, but that's not the case here.
