Didn't think he'd get it even though he should. He was robbed the last decade.

To be fair those are 2 different arguments. One he's making a case why Pacquiao is a top fighter and a good win. The other he's making a case why Pacquiao wasn't the best. 2 completely different things.Yeah and I bet a big reason Floyd got the nod for this "prestigious" award here is because he managed to outhug/outrun an already brutally ko'd Manny.
Here you are playing up the fact that Manny was brutally ko'd to make Floyd look like a god, but last week you was playing down Manny being brutally ko'd to validate Floyd getting full credit for beating him. You Floyd Boys flip flop like that.
"Manny was p4p then and is still p4p now..he was world champ then and is world champ now..so i have no idea how you can act like Floyds win meant nothing..."
One minute he is a p4p beast, the next a brutally ko'd loser....Your flip flopping words on full display...Comment

so which one was it?...was he a prime p4p king who floyd took off the throne, or the 3 loss, brutally ko'd loser that he uses in this thread to prop floyd up...because we talking about the same manny in both cases are we not?Comment

Maybe he deserves it, maybe not. But I figured he’d be getting it since it was supposedly close last decade(according to the floydboys) when it shouldn’t have even been debatable.Comment

So Pacquiao can't be a good P4P fighter but not the best? You're trying to force it in to he was the best or shit. No, he was a good P4P fighter just not as good as Mayweather.Comment

What behavior? Because Hearn said promoters pay off writers?
Come on. That's no reason for this accusation without something more damning than that.
You do realize that Kevin Iole was the first to mention Floyd's IV, right? Months before Hauser. It simply didn't get any attention because he reported on it without any spin.Last edited by travestyny; 12-24-2019, 11:03 AM.Comment

Canelo and Pacquiao are definitely big wins. I can see the argument. But yea, Pacquiao has lost to about 4 different people this decade. Floyd is one of those guys inbetween, not even the guy that threw him off so there’s a valid point too.
Pacquiao did have some prime in the decade beating Clottey which is an underrated win against a veteran coming off a nip and tuck fight with an elite Cotto. And did beat Marquez before getting KO’d. Post that he beat a pfp’er in Bradley twice and most recently beat a young lion in Thurman which is fairly equivalent to the Canelo Floyd beat. Outside of Pac and Canelo, Mayweather’s resume consists of mainly untested guys like Guerrero, Ortiz and Berto, who afterwards just proved they were only D-lvl anyway. Who here thinks the Marg Pacquiao beat doesn’t destroy all three of those guys? Pacquiao had more wins, more quality in quantity and about double the amount of fights in the decade.
BUT. Floyd did beat Pacquiao and he did beat one of the best guys today in Canelo. So I can’t argue too much.Comment
