Thurman was arguably the man to beat wasn't he? He beat the two top beltholders, was stripped of one belt, was prime and undefeated. He was calling for a Floyd fight and Floyd fights Berto. He deserved a shot.
If anything it makes Floyd look bad after how everything played out, but we knew Floyd had took his foot off the gas pedal already.
