    That's ********.

After the weigh in, if you took 100 boxing gamblers and asked them if they would wager on Ruiz, they all would have refused because he didn't train.

    I still don't get it.

Nobody can possibly be that foolish and reckless with his hard earned money.

    • If your dad did contrary to my advice, he should be dead by now.

          • Was going to post in this thread before but knew it wouldn't change anything. The unfortunate thing about gamblers is that they tend to be ruled by emotion more than logic. You can't reason with them, which is why they are ******** in the first place.

Hope he recovers from the financial loss. Sad to hear about it.

            • The factor that's really going to sting is how disinterested Ruiz looked to win it.
That was a piss poor non-perf and i would hate to lose ANY sum over such bum (let alone 80.000 k)

                • Heartbreaking...........

Had a girlfriend in college with a ******** addiction. One time she got a 6k student loan refund and gambled away it over three days at the casino, then had to work way more than she was planning to during the semester and bombed some of her classes.

85k on mayweather was a terrible bet, the odds are so chit that its not even worth it, risk 85k to get back what 3k or something dumb like that. Mayweather could lose by DQ, or breaks both hands, or gets a cut the ref rules legit, ect ect. There are bad calls all the time. Theres crazy chit happens all the time. What if you bet on Mayweater beats Ortiz > 7 rounds or whatever and then boom odd ball stoppage in the 4th, he handnt had a stoppage that early since Manfredy in 1998.

OP's dad bet his life savings based on rumors he read about AJ's camp the first fight... what in the ***.
No. He would have won 15k or so. Surprisingly, a lot of people bet on McGregor. For bets, it was literally one of the best boxing bets you could make.
I won $100 bucks on that fight and thought it was the easiest bet in a looong time.
