Nice £350 return.
Anyone that still thought Ruiz would win after blowing up like that was a fool.

Hurt right now, I'm sure. I'll call him later to let him gather himself.
That's ********.

This fight is a 50/50 so I wouldn't recommend your dad do that, but it's his money.

I'm a little suspect on these types of big claims. If you go to Vegas and drop anything over 10G's they make you fill out paper work so just by getting the IRS eyes on you makes me hesitant to ever bet that big.
I think the most I ever bet was like 2g's in the Vegas sports book and thats when I was making that phat GM salary!
Yeah it is not that easy to bet 85k, its not like you just take it all out in cash, you got to go to the bank fill out paper work, wire it all this chit and they gonna be looking at you like youre a dumb ass, so that is some social pressure to not do something ******.
85k on mayweather was a terrible bet, the odds are so chit that its not even worth it, risk 85k to get back what 3k or something dumb like that. Mayweather could lose by DQ, or breaks both hands, or gets a cut the ref rules legit, ect ect. There are bad calls all the time. Theres crazy chit happens all the time. What if you bet on Mayweater beats Ortiz > 7 rounds or whatever and then boom odd ball stoppage in the 4th, he handnt had a stoppage that early since Manfredy in 1998.
OP's dad bet his life savings based on rumors he read about AJ's camp the first fight... what in the ***.
