This is arguably the greatest storyline coming into the fight. I hope he wins big man.

So my dad is going to put the majority of his savings on Andy Ruiz.... Thoughts?

1) Replay the 15 second clip where AJ knocks Ruiz on his fat azz. What a bomb of a shot. Don’t think Ruiz can eat another one of those.
2) if he must bet on Ruiz, he’ll get better odds today than on fight day...

Not saying it’s a bad bet...but anyone who puts down the “majority of his savings” on a single bet is a damn fool.

He's pretty much set in doing it again by putting it on Ruiz. His reasoning is because AJ supposedly suffered a severe panic attack meaning that in the rematch, all of the pressure and eyes will be on him and he believes he will suffer yet another panic attack because everything will be overwhelming.
He also believes he's mentally weak, which makes since as he clearly quit when the going got tough.
He said this will be the last time he bets this big again, but he's been saying for months that Ruiz is holding all of the cards in the rematch.
He has not placed the wager yet as he's waiting to get the best odds possible, then he's going to unload it all at the Westgate superbook on the very last day. So if anyone is at that sports book, you can see him making the wager there during that time.
You probably wont be able to convince him not to make this wager as his mind is pretty much made up, but what advice do you have? Do you think this is a solid bet?

******** your life savings and your retirement on a single fight is utter fùcking ******ity, there’s no other way to describe it.
This fight could go either way and there’s a very good chance Ruiz loses.

It’s not a good idea because if it goes the distance and Ruiz appears to be winning, it may not matter and Joshua may get the decision. If you’re going to bet on the underdog, it should be an underdog with star power who won’t get jerked on the cards. I’d put my money on AJ in this fight, even though he may again lose by TKO, I think he’s now very aware of the danger of trading with Ruiz and he won’t do it again. He will box and stay on the outside all night and he is very capable of doing that with his size, reach and height. He had 0 respect for Ruiz in the first fight but now he has LOTS of respect and he will show it with his gameplan of staying the hell away from Ruiz as much as possible.

Larry and Motorcity Cobra were going to do the same, but Larry bought a McDonalds cheeseburger instead and Motorcity Cobra got a bargain on 5 pairs of womens tights.

I think Ruiz wins again, but it's idiotic to risk more than 50 dollars on him. Sounds to me like you are seeking attention. Good luck.
