Those quick to slam Ortiz for the $1.5M purse listed on his NSAC contract should realize his actual guarantee is approximately $7M, Hearn's final offer for the Joshua fight. #WilderOrtiz2

So someone is paying Wilder $20M and Ortiz $7M.
Who?
Here's the usual system... a matchup generates interest amongst sports fans, interest generates sales, sales generate money, money gets the fighters in the ring.
This version is someone pays them a fortune. What do they get in exchange for their money?Comment

Yeah, but the question is did it reach this high because of Hearn? Those quick to slam Ortiz for the $1.5M purse listed on his NSAC contract should realize his actual guarantee is approximately $7M, Hearn's final offer for the Joshua fight. #WilderOrtiz2

You gotta admit PBC is paying an average of $1 - 2 mil for fights of this nature.
Do you think this fight is as big as Thurman/Garcia/Porter
when they fought each other, who made $1-2m each?
Is Ortiz bigger than the names above?Comment

Foxsports.com:
"Order the fight for just $74.99 plus applicable taxes & fees."

Yea...I'll let you know Fox

If you still think what's reported is what fighters actually make them there is nothing to talk aboutYeah, but the question is did it reach this high because of Hearn?

It's what the sport deserves. Don't put average fights on PPV and expect us to shell out almost $80.This is almost $29 mil in purses. There is NO MUTHAFCKN way IMO this fight sells enough to cover the purse guarantees. This is going to suck for the sport, especially coming off the heels of Canelo/Kov losing money.
If the most known American HWT and the sport's cash cow with a huge Mexican fanbase are losing huge sums of money in Vegas this sport is in trouble.
PPV should be for megafights only not fights that should be on Fox or showtime.Comment

Why do people not ask for proof or criticize Joshua's purses. Who here actually believes Joshua is getting $85 million?Comment
