Just because some random idiot might make a thread like that, doesn't make it valid. There is plenty to win for Floyd in this fight, especially since he is a business fighter. $$$

Furthermore, the people who piss and moan about Floyd are mostly Mexicans, and they are simply not going to call Margarito (one of their own) a bum if he loses to Floyd...especially because Marg is a throwback Mexican, and if he does lose to Floyd he will go out on his shield. There is simply no way, period, that this fight will be easy for Floyd.

And in fact give Floyd no credit for either win instead going off about how he "lost" the first fight. Instead of just agreeing the first fight was close and the second loss was a wash.

As for this thread, any fan that says Roy is back because of this fight is a dummy.

I'm a huge Roy fan but frankly beating up this guy is a solid comeback confidence win but other than beating a top 10 guy right now hasn't proven anything.

I'm honestly surprised he even won it he looked so crappy in his last two fights before this.

Eh, no. Even most Mexican fans admit he won the rematch. They are just mad because Castillo was robbed in the 1st fight. He should have had that one in most people's eyes. Anyway, moving on.

I had both fights clearly for mayweather although at the time I didn't score fights live as they happened but just on my 2nd viewing. The first viewing of Mayweather-Castillo 1 did look like Castillo won because I had never ever seen Mayweather struggle. So it was an optical illusion.

If you truly score it round by round as two boxers, then Mayweather won. If you score it relative to other Mayweather performances this is the only way I can see how people think Castillo won.

And ok Jones beat a bum. After 3 losses in a row, 2 of which were brutal knockouts, if he was going to continue fighting who did you expect him to fight? Tyson?

There was no 'illusion'. Castilllo won, simply because he outfought Floyd and outhustled him. Floyd ran for most of the night and the effective aggressor was Castillo. Floyd's running did not help him win. It was a tactic he used because supposedly his shoulder was hurt.

But he won the rematch so that's that.
