Just because some random idiot might make a thread like that, doesn't make it valid. There is plenty to win for Floyd in this fight, especially since he is a business fighter. $$$
Furthermore, the people who piss and moan about Floyd are mostly Mexicans, and they are simply not going to call Margarito (one of their own) a bum if he loses to Floyd...especially because Marg is a throwback Mexican, and if he does lose to Floyd he will go out on his shield. There is simply no way, period, that this fight will be easy for Floyd.
That's the thing though.
You assume there is money to be earned there, however, remember that Arum isn't that different from Don King.
So it may be bull****.
Also.. I'm mexican and I obviously am not having delusions about Margarito.
Perhaps and perhaps not.
You never know how the people on here will react, especially the insanely rabid fans who change their boxing hero on a nearly daily basis.
Whatever. 'May' be bull**** doesn't cut it. You don't KNOW that until Floyd accepts the offer. Until it is proven by that to be BS, then there's no argument there. Arum is one rich ass ***...he has plenty of dough if he feels like risking it on Tony like that.
Insanely rabid fans shouldn't affect anything. They are insane and by nature are not to be taken seriously anyway.

Why doesn't Arum or Tony try and prove that the contract was really going to give Floyd $8 mil?
How can they 'prove' that? That makes no sense. How could they lie? All Floyd has to do is merely VIEW the contract, and if the $8 mill isn't gauraunteed on there, he tells the whole world what a fraud Arum is.
Simple.
Anyway, I'm sure Floyd will fight Margarito at some point. It is inevitable.

Yeah, but I just don't think things are as simple as we think they are in the boxing world.
Most likely, at least I hope so.
Maybe then it would knock that ego out of Margarito. (I say this from what I've recently read about him so if it's not true, then disregard this)
Too bad Floyd will just have a bigger ego after the fight..
Oh please. If someone other than RJJ had faced the bum formerly known as prince and people were hyping him, you'd be saying the same **** I am.
However, because you are a fan/lover of RJJ, you'll be here countering my posts with your fanboy love and fantasies.
Of course you're not going to call prince a bum, because if you did there would be no reason for you to say that RJJ is "back".
When RJJ takes real fights, he puts himself in danger which is why he avoided a lot during his career.
See what happened when he stepped up a bit? He got KTFO twice!
If you want to praise him for beating a bum, fine, just don't change your tune when Sturm or someone else "on a comeback" fights a bum and is praised for it.
dang dude
every fighter is entitled to their share of easy fights to prepare for the harder ones
