Floyd will get credit for beating the RING's number 2 rated welterweight. The reason Floyd needs to fight Marg is simple: Marg is a top rated welterweight, and he's one of the few AVAILABLE and viable opponents. DLH/MOS/Hatton/Cotto are all off the table.

Just because some random idiot might make a thread like that, doesn't make it valid. There is plenty to win for Floyd in this fight, especially since he is a business fighter. $$$

Furthermore, the people who piss and moan about Floyd are mostly Mexicans, and they are simply not going to call Margarito (one of their own) a bum if he loses to Floyd...especially because Marg is a throwback Mexican, and if he does lose to Floyd he will go out on his shield. There is simply no way, period, that this fight will be easy for Floyd.
