    Speak for yourself.
Check out some of his fights if you get a chance.

It's still a very impressive victory against one of the best fighters in the division, especially because of the division jump. Give Alvarez his proper due.

Those are all rational views but look at it this way!

        Canelo moved up 2 divisions
        No catch weight
No tune up for the weight class
Fought the #2 in that division
Fighting for a title in his overall 6th division(he started as a jr welterweight )

Got the knockout over a legit light heavyweight champ who’s proven with a hall of fame career in a fight he was losing and needed a KO to win to escape damaging criticism if it went to the cards

Every sport makes up new rules and changes the status quo so he is officially a 4 division champ which is huge history

He holds belts in 3 divisions currently something that hasn’t been seen since Henry Armstrong arguably the greatest fighter of all time

This is all rational as well, scary thing is he’s still just in the middle of his career and has an outstanding resume!

As for Yarde how do you know he's a top fighter? He has no resume.
Kovalev still has legit skills, he showed that last night.

I said Yarde is decent... and he proved that against Kovalev despite his shallow resume. His best win is Sjekloca who was coming off a draw with Stieglitz for the EBU title.

Not at all, Kovalev tried to box off the back foot and was winning the fight (albeit not on the cards) prior to the stoppage.

Kovalev was very competitive last night.

Yeah I like it, it would certainly legitimise Bivol.

I’d love to see Beterbiev-Bivol also. They’re the top 2 in the division IMO

Canelo stole the show that night.

Nate Diaz, Jorge Masvidal, didn't settle anything.

Meanwhile, no one seems to have realized that Kovalev's weakness is not his body. It's his chin, after the sixth round.
