I'm not even counting ggg who would be a bigger risk nor Saunders who based on his style could be a risk as well. Either way, I think everyone else is a bigger risk to Canelo than this current version of Kovalev at 36, who is run down and was nearly stopped by a novice weeks ago and now has to fight again in 6 weeks.
And ALL would beat Kovalov??? The only one on your list I would pick would be Gvozdyk. The other still have too many ???? Would you REALLY put all to beat Kov???

You’ve been proven wrong ALL the fkn time! Am I wrong? Did you NOT pick ggg to KO Canelo? Did you not pick Kov to KO Ward??? Yeah that’s what I thought

styles make fights So I'm not assessing whether all would beat Kovalev, maybe they would or wouldn't, although, this version of Kovalev on the short turnaround who almost lost to Yarde could potentially lose to all of them. But based on age, style, wear and tear, I do think they are all a bigger risk to Canelo than Kovalev is right now.

What part of that don't you understand?
so dervy was entitled to a pct of what? you think that canelos deal with DAZN is part of purse bid? thats a network deal, and since there is no ppv for the fight then they can only split the gate... which also pays the rest of the fighters...
please explain what pct was dervy going to get?
canelo giving other fighters a pct of his network deal is never going to happen... basically anyone asking for this is pricing him self out of the canelo fight...

I can't argue about that short turnaround? Or this version which is still elite just not as elite... I'm not going to argue with any of those other guys because we won't know until they fight each other or Canelo. You gave me a legit list so I can respect that and will tone it down a notch.

No, that's a fact. As IBF mando Dereyanchenko was entitled to a 35% cut if it had gone to a bid. $5.5 million is only a fraction of that, around 13% of the total, assuming Canelo would recieve $35million.

If Canelo had been negotiating in good faith he would have offered Dereyanchenko more when the $5.5million was rejected.

See my answer to the other shameless fanboy above. There was no reason at all why Canelo couldn't have offered Dereyanchenko a reesonable cut of his DAZN fee to get the deal made without a purse bid being called. He didn't do that because he didn't want to fight Dereyanchenko.

It would have been a terrific, fan friendly match-up. And thankfully, GGG stepping up to the challenge after Canelo tucked his tail will give us another just as good, if not better.

I'm on the majority who thinks GGG won the first fight, still I gave Canelo the second one.

I don't care what anybody says second one could've gone either way because it was very close, so that win has to be considered a legit one.

How is anyone entitled to canelos network deal?
