This is getting sad, do you have a job or a life? You talk **** about boxing fans when i haven't heard you talk about boxing, just Floyd. You spend almost 24 hours a day talking **** about Floyd probably out of your mom's basement, with no valid point to be made. You're one of those guy who couldn't stop riding Hatton's **** until he got schooled by Collazo, he might have won that fight but no one's even mentioned in regard to Floyd as much as they use too, I don't think you're a boxing fan your a Floyd hater. Margarito's a very good fighter, Mayweather's the p4p best, & when you're the best everyone calls you out with no intent on fighting you, & punks like you come out of from nowhere to talk ****. No that dont make sense, why would Arum put 8M up and want get to promote it or make his $$$ back. Will Arum get a % of some of the PPV buys? Or is Arum trying to be slick and pull floyd back in under his control, Arum would lose $$$ on this, promoter's like to make $$$.

As much as I argue with Charlie... I admit he is very much a BOXING fan. There is no rule he has to like Floyd and therefore he is free to criticize Floyd for not making the best possible fights. Face it Floyd-Baldomir isn't the best available fight and I love Floyd. Sure it will be nice for him to become a recognized champ at 147 and imo the fight with Margarito will be more valuable down the road. But Charlie feels Margarito is the most dangerous fight for Floyd, even more than DLH or Mosley. And that is a perfectly acceptable opinion. I don't happen to agree but I can respect that Charlie has watched Margarito and Floyd a lot and sees something I don't. If we all agreed with each other all of the time, this would be the most boring site ever.

Its hard for me to defend his position because I don't agree with it but he has facts to support his point. Floyd hasn't fought elite competition in 3 years period. I chalk it up to necessary mandatories, money and exposure (Gatti), and other people's mistakes (Judah). But bottom line is that he hasn't fought elite competition. I criticize Margarito for not having a great resume and fighting guys like Gomez and Cintron but they weren't coming off of losses like Judah and Mitchell. Furthermore, 8 million guaranteed is a lot of money, more money than Floyd has ever made. So it is not ridiculous to think that he is turning down the money because he is at least a little bit afraid (or he thinks the risk outweighs the reward). Any way you cut it, it CAN BE ARGUED that Floyd is ducking. I respect Charlie's opinion.
