I think DLH will fight him at 154 as long as Floyd is still undefeated. But I could see him retiring because DLH himself rose to super-star status by beating older heroes of the sport (Whitaker and Chavez) and he doesn't want to be Floyd's stepping stone. Plus I can't really believe that Mayweather Sr. really wants to train DLH for the fight. Can you actually hate your son (I know you can hate your dad)?

I aint buying that hype, I just dont think Oscar will fight Floyd becuase he will never fight again. he is done! He took a year off and fought once, now he taking another fight off and gon come back and fight the best in boxing. I cant see it happening.

I don't see any risk at 147, I'm fairly certain he'd beat anyone at WW, If a fighter who's a natural 130/135 lbs fighter, & can contend at 154 it would cement his legacy, he's definatly going to fight DLH, but if he beats Winky(which if anyone can, it's Floyd) it would silence all the critics, i honestly belive that the only true challenges to PBF unbeaten record are at 154(or Mosley at 147).

I am buying it. What does Oscar have to lose...not an undefeated record or a legacy. What does he have to gain... a lot of money, a chance at retiring on top, adding another elite name to his resume. Oscar is very aware of history and is a business man... this fight will happen unless Floyd screws it up.

I think Shane would be somewhat of a challenge for Floyd, like Zab Judah was for a few rounds. But what Floyd says about opponents shouldn't be taken as fact. I mean he says he would walk all over Margarito but I know you don't believe that.

Well, we should just wait & see who his next opponent is & at what weight, cause Mayweather ain't Mosley, I think he'd look better then Mosley at 154, I can imagine that speed would be similar. Also Dawg, I think DLH will fight Mayweather; win, lose, or draw he can say he ended his career against the best p4p fighter in the world, how many fighters could say that, besides DLH would have an advantage at that weight, unless Floyd proves otherwise before they meet.

Agreed on Mosley/Mayweather, but It wouldn't be easy. & we honestly haven't seen what shape Mayweather would be at 154, how his speed & agility would be effected, after seeing Mosley demolish Vargas, I'd say Mayweather would look about the same or better. Personally speaking the thing I like most about Floyd is his ring intelligence, He can figure out what it'll take to beat you & he'll hit you with it all night, that's why at the top of my list is PBF/DLH, to very inteligent fighter in the ring.
