I will check it out. Rogan is a good interviewer, lets the people talk usually. A 2 hour or longer format gives them a lot of time for people to talk a lot. I cant watch those things in their entirety but the clips and pieces are great. If I had a long commute I would probably listen to them in the car but I dont.
Rogain doesnt know anywhere near what he thinks he does about boxing though, but thats fine once youre used to it.Comment

imo the 1st fight was close but the knockdown tipped it into Kovalevs favor imo so definetly didnt like that Ward was gifted that win, the 2nd fight however Ward was clearly winning imo, and that right hand that got Kovalev into trouble before the stoppage was beautiful, but the stoppage was just so anticlimactic, sure there might have been 1 or 2 clean bodyshots out of those lowblows but it rly was a shame how that fight ended, Ward was doing so well and was on his way to the biggest win of his career and then he goes and ends the fight like that, i rly disliked that, it left a sour taste of dissatisfaction, and i also didnt agree with him retiring after, i wouldve liked to see him stay @ LHW and have like 2-3 more fights then retire, but that was never his agenda so ohwell i guess... i always liked Ward as a fighter, sure he did fight dirty but he was so crafty and so skilled that to me as a fan of the sweet science i rly enjoyed watching him punk his opponents, but all in all he had a great career with lots of good names on his record, so got nothing but respect for him getting out of the game with everything intactI really like Ward as a man and respect him a lot but I just was not at all excited about how he fought and think he was gifted twice against Kovalev and should stop talking like some kind of expert on how to beat him. He definitely lost the first fight and was losing the 2nd until he started getting in illegal n@t shots. Thinking that he was on his way to winning anyways certainly acceptable, I just don't think he deserved to win the way he did.Comment

Wards an elite fighter who many slighted as not being great in any particular attribute as in speed, power, etc but his boxing brain has to be on that elite level. He was able to beat guys people didn't think he could beat by having a great game plan and adapting to his opponent. He also had just enough power to keep guys honest. He also had phenomenal stamina and grit. One of my favorite fighters and my only gripe is that he didn't fight more and travel. He could of done so much more with his career.Comment

Confused admiration is what it really is. I tend to ignore people I don't like but those on here give people they don't like so much energy. Strange.Comment

During the interview, Ward said he'll leave it to others to debate his place in history, but he did tell Rogan that because of his "hit without getting hit style" many people don't recognize that he's one of the toughest fighters of the last 10 years.I'm just curious if ward had ever made those claims though? Had he ever said so himself that's he's the best? I've heard many other people say it and give him the accolades. I have heard ward mention that it's not his job to rate himself, he'll let the people decide that.
And I'm talking about when he was active.
I liked the interview too, but Rogan told Ward that he thought that Roy Jones Jr. used PEDs to bulk up for his Heavyweight fight because he was able to bulk up in his 30s. Yet, Rogan always defends Jon Jones who tested positive for PEDs twice in his 30s and has a different physique then he did in his 20s.Comment
