Comments Thread For: Loeffler: GGG Might Have Lost on Scorecards, Never Lost in Ring!

Had GGG been given a SD/UD victory in the 1st fight, I would not have had a problem with that! However, I didn't have a problem with the draw! The real controversy was Adelaide Byrd's score of 118-110! That was just as bad as C.J. Ross' score of 114-114 for Canelo vs. Mayweather! However I thought Canelo won the rematch, and how he beat GGG was even more impressive! Even Able Sanchez knew the deal, and we see what GGG did with him!
Where we can never compare the 2 fighters are their level of competition! Canelo is head and shoulders above GGG in that comparison! GGG talked that "anyone from 154-168," but Canelo lived it! People will call Kovalev "old" but I believe that old man is coming off 2 consecutive victories, and the last one was a KO in the 11th round! Let's not forget that Mayweather beat Canelo at 36, B-Hop beat Oscar at 39, and Pacquiao beat Thurman at 40! Kovalev vs. Canelo is a real fight, and Canelo gets nothing but praise from me if he enters the ring, much less winning the fight! SALUD!Comment

read my initial post on this thread and tell me who I'm defending? All you did was just prove you're a sensitive butt hurt groupie by jumping in a convo that you don't know s*** about.Comment

yep ggg ducked those fights when each offered a title. He's taking the route of least resistance. Not too much different from Canelo not facing them either and opting to chase a 36 yr old who is clearly run down and will then face him with a quick turnaround in just 3 months or less. Also the path of least resistance when you consider there's charlo, andrade, callum smith, plant, benavidez, and even bivol willing to drop to 168 for Canelo. Pretty lame. Right??Comment

You're too predictable. You make claims about ggg that are understandable but when it's mentioned that Canelo is doing the same thing, you're like "nah, but it's different tho. Remember Canelo faced Lara......5 yrs ago" lmaooo. Fact is, their resumes have been very simikar since Canelo beat Cotto 4 yrs ago. Only difference is the best opponents Canelo have faced have been older than him and ggg has faced younger competition.Comment

If he didn't lost, but he didn't win either moron! Them and their so called Mexican Style, never knew what this was. Chavez Sr told them both to Abel and GGG stop lying to the public with this BS....When Canelo stood in the middle of the ring, GGG didn't react Mexican Style!!!!!!!Comment

correct !
Golovkin has never been interested in facing the best
rubbish
the situation with Golovkin is MILES different than the situation with Canelo
FACT: Canelo faced the best in his division at 154 and 160
he took 2 dangerous fights at 154 AGAINST THE WISHES OF HIS PROMOTER... facing the 2 best JMW's... AND he fought other top 5 JMW's, AND he fought Mayweather
at 160.... Canelo has ONLY faced top 3 opposition, Jacobs and GGG... in-between 2 lesser fights at 168
facing Kovalev (at 175) is a much bigger risk than anything Golovkin has ever done
Canelo will obviously fight the best at 168 when he is ready, just like he did at 154 and 160... I am 100% positive (and you do not have ANY justification to disagree with me)... that Canelo will face Benavidez/Smith/Plant at 168
I agree with you that there are still relevant fights at 160
but fcuk Golovkin, fcuk Andrade, and fcuk Charlo... if they think that they can sit on their hands at 160, waiting for the others to lose, so that they can win the Canelo payday by default... JUST LIKE ALL OF THE WELTERS DID AT 147 before Mayweather retired
it is clearly obvious that ALL of those guys need to step up
like I have said MANY times, my preference is (in order)...
* Charlo (or Andrade)
* Andrade (or Charlo)
* Benavidez
* Smith
* Plant
* Golovkin
* Kovalev
NO... Canelo taking a dangerous fight with Kovalev, in-between fighting the best in his division... is is no way similar to Golovkin avoiding Andrade/Charlo to fight the Wades, Vanes, Rolls, etcComment
