yep ggg ducked those fights when each offered a title. He's taking the route of least resistance. Not too much different from Canelo not facing them either and opting to chase a 36 yr old who is clearly run down and will then face him with a quick turnaround in just 3 months or less. Also the path of least resistance when you consider there's charlo, andrade, callum smith, plant, benavidez, and even bivol willing to drop to 168 for Canelo. Pretty lame. Right??

Golovkin has never been interested in facing the best

rubbish
the situation with Golovkin is MILES different than the situation with Canelo
FACT: Canelo faced the best in his division at 154 and 160
he took 2 dangerous fights at 154 AGAINST THE WISHES OF HIS PROMOTER... facing the 2 best JMW's... AND he fought other top 5 JMW's, AND he fought Mayweather
at 160.... Canelo has ONLY faced top 3 opposition, Jacobs and GGG... in-between 2 lesser fights at 168
facing Kovalev (at 175) is a much bigger risk than anything Golovkin has ever done
Canelo will obviously fight the best at 168 when he is ready, just like he did at 154 and 160... I am 100% positive (and you do not have ANY justification to disagree with me)... that Canelo will face Benavidez/Smith/Plant at 168
I agree with you that there are still relevant fights at 160
but fcuk Golovkin, fcuk Andrade, and fcuk Charlo... if they think that they can sit on their hands at 160, waiting for the others to lose, so that they can win the Canelo payday by default... JUST LIKE ALL OF THE WELTERS DID AT 147 before Mayweather retired
it is clearly obvious that ALL of those guys need to step up
like I have said MANY times, my preference is (in order)...
* Charlo (or Andrade)
* Andrade (or Charlo)
* Benavidez
* Smith
* Plant
* Golovkin
* Kovalev
NO... Canelo taking a dangerous fight with Kovalev, in-between fighting the best in his division... is is no way similar to Golovkin avoiding Andrade/Charlo to fight the Wades, Vanes, Rolls, etcComment
