Otherwise BOTH have been super selective with their opposition. We all know Kovalev is on the downside. While he's the biggest name in his division, he isn't the best champion in his division. At this point, he's also not more of a threat than any of the other names I've mentioned that Canelo is conveniently passing over. You're a groupie clown and you just made it super easy to prove it. Checkmate.
You are an absolute ggg fanatic. Why won't ggg fight Kovalev then if he's on the downside?

Ggg who never fought anyone except Canelo and Jacobs (Canelo beat). You have obvious bias and blinded by your love to ggg. You are wrong, accept your L for the good but not great ggg.

Broner may have lost in the scorecards but he never lost in the eye of the hood.

I'm not defending gggs resume. You're a compete canelo apologist. You're right, ggg is good not great. But what does that say about Canelo that he can't convincingly beat a 35/36 yr old good fighter when he was only 27/28 yrs old.

Much appreciated! It really boggles my mind when people say "why don't you hold Canelo and GGG to the same standard? Both are avoiding Charlo and Andrade." Well one just fought Danny Jacobs, and the other fought Steve Rolls! Also, one is trying to fight a Champion at 175, and the other is fighting Derevyanchenko for a vacant title @ 160! Off the top of your head, can you name the last fighter to win titles at 154, 160, 168, and 175? I can't!

one is also 37 and one isn't 30 yet

remove each others name from the other guys resume...one still stands up and has plenty of time to get better....the others looks pedestrian

Kovalev has 2 consecutive victories, 1 being a KO! He's 6'0" tall (Canelo is only 5'8") and Kovalev is a LHW! Even at 37, that's a formidable task for anybody @ 160! I have to give a big up to Canelo because no MW is even thinking like him! Not even the great Roy Jones Jr. won titles at 154, 160, 168, and 175! I have to salute Canelo just for entering the ring with Kovalev!

Put Canelo in the ring with Roy Jones in his prime then tell us who the better fighter is. It ain't Canelo.
