Well one just fought Danny Jacobs, and the other fought Steve Rolls! Also, one is trying to fight a Champion at 175, and the other is fighting Derevyanchenko for a vacant title @ 160! Off the top of your head, can you name the last fighter to win titles at 154, 160, 168, and 175? I can't!
What title did Canelo win at 168?? Are you joking. Fielding would get beat by Steve Rolls..

I was not saying Canelo is better than Roy Jones Jr.! However, if Canelo can win titles in each weight class from 154-175, it would be a historic achievement! Do you know of anyone else who did it?

He won a title @ 168! GGG was "anyone from 154-168!" Do you remember that? Did he win a tile at 154? How about 168? Don't talk about, be about it!

Well, GGG sure didn't win that rematch against Canelo, the way he got backed up and took a fair amount of punishment.

Like I said Steve Rolls would beat Fielding. I don't care how many titles Fielding held.

However, Canelo did not fight Steve Rolls, GGG did! Canelo fought WBA Super Middleweight Champion Rocky Fielding @ MSG in fine fashion! That's the difference between Canelo and GGG! When they say Canelo is fighting a 37-yr. old "bum," that "bum" is the LHW Champion of the World! When they say GGG is fighting a 35-yr. old "bum," it's really a "bum!"

Hey I consider it GGG 1 Canelo 1. But I don’t care much for a third fight. Time will tilt towards Canelo imo. GGG had two cracks to put Canelo on his cheeks like a lot of his die hard fans were salivating over and it didn’t happen. I do like the SD fight. Canelo vs Kovalev kinda interest me.

Tommy Hearns 147 154 160 168 175. He won titles in five weight divisions. To top it off he started his title winning in a lower weight division than Canelo.
He even moved up to Cruiser Weight and did well.
If you think Canelo is hot stuff do some research on Tommy Hearns. He could outbox master boxers or end a fight with a single punch. Truely an amazing fighter. He had his flaws but he was an exciting fighter to watch. His stare alone intimidated me and I was watching him from the safety of my living room. I often wondered when Tommy looked into his opponents eyes and they saw death staring back at them what they were thinking. Something like " if I get out of this alive first thing I'm going to do is fire my promoter. A bit of an exaggeration but he was a beast.

The Hitman! Of course I saw the Hitman! I lost my first bet in boxing, betting on the Hitman to beat Sugar! Well, if Canelo can win, then he will be in good company! I just hope he doesn't end up like the Hitman!
