Lomachenko: I can't speak English very well...I can't be a superstar

I don't think he was really complaining, just a cerebral boxer stating his perspective.
His English isn't terrible either, if he immersed himself it would probably improve fairly quickly, but I get the feeling thats not really his priority, he always talks about his boxing legacy not money or fame.
If he improved a bit more, so he can understand questions and at give least fairly coherent responses he should be fine, the broken English may even endear him to people.
Like Khabib in MMA and his "send location" phrase, the memes write themselves.Comment

Too bad it is true in the USA.
Ideally, a fighter's performance in the ring should be the main marketing tool.
But money is made from casuals in this sport. Fighters need to speak, to be interviewed for casuals to notice them.Comment

Lol. YDKSAB. floyd was a pac fan from 2003-2007. Pac was feed to all the killers and elites of 122-130 division from 2001-2006 and demolished them like nothing, that's what make pac a superstar because of his phenomenal way of destroying the elites of every division....Comment

I dont see Loma turning into a superstar.Comment

I think you have a different opinion of what constitutes being a household name...almost 0 active boxers are legitimate household names, and tank Davis is 100% not one of them.Comment
