Lomachenko: I can't speak English very well...I can't be a superstar

I don't think he was really complaining, just a cerebral boxer stating his perspective.
His English isn't terrible either, if he immersed himself it would probably improve fairly quickly, but I get the feeling thats not really his priority, he always talks about his boxing legacy not money or fame.
If he improved a bit more, so he can understand questions and at give least fairly coherent responses he should be fine, the broken English may even endear him to people.
Like Khabib in MMA and his "send location" phrase, the memes write themselves.
His Cruiser/Heavyweight counterpart became a meme before him even
Do they not speak the language at home though? As very proud people I thought they would.Last edited by YoungManRumble; 08-26-2019, 06:29 PM.Comment

We just need to find Loma a catch phrase/meme and hes good to go.Comment

The only questionable "superstar" right now is Canelo really. None of the 147 pounders are even superstars. Until they all fight each other it will not even be a possibility. Even then it is no guarantee.
Loma is a lightweight making 3+ million a fight. He is doing very well considering the current market. He has those Venum and Billionaire endorsements also on top of it.Comment

Tank Davis is not even close to a household name my friend but keep dreaming. Theres almost no boxers at all that are household names never mind Tank Davis.Comment

🗣"I can't be a superstar." 😮@VasylLomachenko says that his lack of English stops him from being a big name, but his ability in the ring can put him in the history books 📖
