I've said time and time again... an "8 million dollar offer" means jack **** comming out of a promoters mouth. We have no idea of the stipulations that Arum made, other than that the date had to be when he suggested, on his promoted card. That made it a no-go from the start. Floyd had a contract with HBO.

Floyd might not've had the contract at the time, I don't recall. However, even if he didn't, none of us know all of the facts behind this supposed deal. Arum said he offered it to Floyd, and we're just supposed to believe him? There's no way, shape, or form Floyd wouldn't take a fight with a guaranteed 8mil to him unless there was a viable reason for him not to.

Also, after fighting the likes of Hernandez, Castillo x2, Corrales, and Chop Chop... I honestly think anybody who says Mayweather is afraid of Margarito is ****ing delusional.

Given his history with Floyd and statements they have made about each other, there is alot of animosity.

Mayweather is finding out that he doesnt have "STAR" power like Goldie.
He cant just pick someone like Mosley or Dela and expect them to jump at the chance to fight him.

I'd agree that PBF thinks his status it equal to or greater the that of Mosley & DLH, which I don't agree with, but I do think his name is alot bigger then Margarito & a fight with Mosley is still not out of the question for a very large amount of $$$. If all else falls apart I would accept a fight with Baldomir or Spinks, cause one would give him the crown at 147 & the other would be a legitimate challenge at 154. Margarito would be a tougher fight then Baldomir in my opinion, but I think Arum wants to call the shots when it come to PBF & Golden Boy for personal reasons, which isn't gonna happen when your fighter isn't a big name fighter, I'd love to see Margarito/Baldomir to see who's the real king of WW & then they could go after Floyd, I'm sure at this point both PBF & Margarito are going after Baldomir that's why any offers are off the table. there's my 2 cents take it or leave it.

Let me say this. If Floyd's next opponent isn't Mosley or Margarito, then I will not support his bull****. I will always recognize him as the best fighter in the world until he gets beat, but I will have a whole lot less respect for the man. This is just getting ridiculous. The only way I'll suport another opponent is if Mayweather makes more than 8 mil fighting him. Any other way you cut it and Mayweather is ducking this man.

At first he gets criticize about being all about the $$$, now he is being damned for wanting to fight a worthy competitor who has some accomplishment and get $$$ too, and he still cant win. Me persoanlly, I dont care who he fights or how much $$$ he is going to make. I just want to see him fight this year thats all. It doesnt matter who he fights right now, it wont be competitive until he is able to fight a Mosley, a Hatton, a Wright, and maybe a Cotto. the maragaritos, Baldomiers, and Spinks of the world will be sparring sessions anyways.

It's pretty much guaranteed to not happen at this point. Arum has said the 8M offer is off the table for Mayweather to fight Margarito at this point. Mayweather never said jack **** about the fight, and Margarito is planning on fighting on December 2nd on Showtime. So what does everyone think? Mayweather turned down 8 million, more than he's ever made in any fight, to NOT fight Margarito. If Mayweather doesn't fight somebody for 8 million or more, do we officially say he ducked Margarito? If he fights Baldomir for less money or Spinks for less money, did he duck Margarito? Thoughts please.
