So did Mayweather officially duck Margarito now that it's over?

It's pretty much guaranteed to not happen at this point. Arum has said the 8M offer is off the table for Mayweather to fight Margarito at this point. Mayweather never said jack **** about the fight, and Margarito is planning on fighting on December 2nd on Showtime. So what does everyone think? Mayweather turned down 8 million, more than he's ever made in any fight, to NOT fight Margarito. If Mayweather doesn't fight somebody for 8 million or more, do we officially say he ducked Margarito? If he fights Baldomir for less money or Spinks for less money, did he duck Margarito? Thoughts please.

Hes calling out two bigger stronger guys.

What are you talking about? Mayweather has taken about 7 million less against guys like Corley, Bruseles, etc. WHy wouldn't he take 8 million to fight in his words "a bum" like Margarito? Give your head a shake and quit being a Floyd apologist. Floyd is ducking Margarito.

Just as Floyd could loose to Margartio, put your own bias aside and agree Margarito might lose to Floyd. Then what? Career over. I believe Mayweather could rebound from his first loss. I think if Margarito got killed, though, only his loyal few would stick beside him. Also, if you read my 'novel' you will see that I did say he does not want to lose to Margarito. There is a chance...but I said I do not believe it is out of fear. Personally, if Floyd manages to fight both De la Hoya and Mosley rather than Margarito, guess what? Better choices, more interesting fights in my eyes. I understand what you are saying about him possibly ducking Margarito for money, but I think ducking implies fear. If I choose a higher paying job over a lower one, am I ducking the other job? Ha. It's all in how you look at it, I suppose....
