I don't believe it's as cut and dry as Hearn says. If that were the case they'd be fighting in Cardiff, where AJ wanted the fight and Eddie said AJ has final say.

But in that interview AJ did he said Ruiz as the champ has some say in location but he'll be fighting to have it held in Cardiff.

Eddie can say whatever, like he always does, but actions aren't matching up with his words

Only comment I'll make in this. Zero chance Ruiz can be forced to fight in SA. Zero. But beyond that I think he's just trying to hold out for more money. I think, in the end, he gets it. I think he wants the rematch in the US but Hearn simply can't allow that or he would look totally useless. My guess is Andy gets more money and is suddenly cool with SA or the fight gets moved to England.

So I watched that IFL video again, here is what Hearn actually said.

Hearn: Wasn't like this was a life changing amount of money over America, massive similarities.
IFL: But the financial aspects must have been a lot better?
Hearn: No, not really.

Hearn: Yeah than Cardiff, Cardiff was the low ball.
Hearn: Of course if this wasn't as good as, or better than America would we have gone there, I don't know...

Which is exactly what I said, so again how does that blow up my theory? In fact he is saying here that SA is as good or better than the US.
