Mmmm, let me think about that .... If AJ had won - in an alternative reality to ours - and he was now fighting somebody other than Ruiz, who wasn't named Fury or Wilder, would that fight be worth as much as a rematch with Ruiz in our reality?

And if not, does that mean that, in our reality, he should give Andy more money?

I give up. What do you think?

      Have you seen the contract?
I don't believe it's as cut and dry as Hearn says. If that were the case they'd be fighting in Cardiff, where AJ wanted the fight and Eddie said AJ has final say.

But in that interview AJ did he said Ruiz as the champ has some say in location but he'll be fighting to have it held in Cardiff.

Eddie can say whatever, like he always does, but actions aren't matching up with his words

Haymon is either trying to bargain more money for ruiz or delaying so ruiz gets stripped and wilder fights for belts. Either way i am sick of fatboy trying to weasel his way out of a contract he signed, if the terms were that garbage why was fatboy so happy to sign it originally. Really hope aj or wilder ko him, embarrassing for the sport to have butterbean as hw champ.

You haven't seen the contract, but you do have opinions about what's in it, based on statements by Hearn and AJ.

So you are no different than me and the other people you've been playing the ... "have you seen the contract" game with.

I know I haven't seen the contract and haven't claimed and making definite statements. I'm basing my opinion on what's actually happening and not what's being said

You're choosing to believe Hearn over your own lying eyes.

That is conjecture and opinion, over-ruled by a signed and sealed, legally-binding contract. Do you find that hard to understand?

Imagine if your employer came back and said, "well we know you've signed a contract, but we don't think you're worth that much anymore so we're gonna pay you less." It simply doesn't work that way. If Ruiz has signed a contract he has no leg to stand on.

Because the actions have lined up with AJ's words not Hearn's. Words and actions MUST match.

Ruiz has every right to fight this bs

then its too bad that his management was unable to negotiate better terms for the rematch. Maybe he needs better management.

The actions were a press conference which indicates no , A side Andy is in over his head should he back track on the contract the IBF cleared for that press conference . I don't think you should be asking someone their age if you don't understand a contract is needed to go public in a conference and declair a fight scheduled with titles on the line .
