While i am very happy for Ruiz for blasting joshua out & just being a big fan in general. I do think he is starting to be a bit unreasonable. If the contract said that team Joshua sets the date & venue & you signed that, you cant dispute it. Arabia doesn't seem to bad of a venue either as it doesn't give either guy a hometown advantage. That's as neutral as it gets honestly. I personally think Ruiz would ko Joshua again no matter where they fight but i guess he doesn't feel the same. Both sides definitely need to stay humble & come to an agreement because who tf wants a legal battle?

Ruiz if his is allowed to fight has to wait for Wilder v Fury if he wants big money: then maybe the winner of that will want to face AJ (who they know can be beaten now) who could have one of his belts back for the bigger money than fighting Ruiz who maybe has one or no titles left.
Thus AJ can afford to wait and carry on improving his boxing skills as he has no belts to lose and loads of money. The bonus being Ruiz will get stripped of his titles and there is a very good chance AJ will get to fight for them. All they have to do is stop Ruiz fighting until all his belts are gone and then rather than finally go to court let Ruiz buy his way out to cover their costs.
Ruiz is trying to get big money now as he could lose the rematch and then back to square one. Thus he knows they want it in UK so he is digging his heals in.

If I was Hearn I would sue this little fat ***er.
There has to be an actual contract for the fight — not just a few paragraphs from a previous contract — filed with all the sanctioning bodies. It will have to have date, place (and there’s not even a venue built yet — have they even started construction — purse and other details to include drug testing specifics, etc.
He may be saying the contract for the new fight isn’t right. He says his team is negotiating with Eddie to work it out. That’s standard. He’s using his leverage.
