These guys have one big season and try to cash out. I don't blame them one bit but if I was an owner, I'd let him sit out. RB is one of if not the most replaceable positions in the NFL at this point.

Ruiz getting 9 million for a Joshua rematch seems fair to me but what do I know? I guess he can not fight, get taken to court, lose his titles, and sit on the shelf for 2 years waiting the lawsuit out. Sounds like a solid plan to me.
I was talking about Zeke not Gordon but yeah

Its funny how the people who are most vocal about Andy signing a contract and being a slave to that contract always disappear when you ask what’s in the contract...

Yeah, Zeke is a beast and I think he has proven he is what makes that team go so they should pay him because he's proven he's a stud over a few years now.

Contract clauses are starting points for renegotiations. Any promoter or lawyer knows this.
Non compliance of that clause would be a direct situation for the IBF to react to and the other sanctioning bodies ,so that doesn't even make sense.

Contract clauses that are signed and approved with press conferences and details of the scheduled fight is not a starting point for negotiaitons? That's the dumbest thing ive heard on here. Ha

Whats in the contract besides a rematch clause.

I'll anxiously await you copy & pasting the full terms agreed to lol.

Silence is a good thing in boxing, when things go silent that typically means negotiations are happening. Lets hope they come to an agreement that makes everybody happy and the fight happens in the ring and not in court
